Rooted in Community. Grounded in Care.
At Healing Blue Therapy, we believe healing is possible for everyone. Trauma can take many forms, childhood wounds, family struggles, or painful life transitions, but it doesn’t have to define your future.
Like the waves of the ocean, life has its ups and downs. Our mission is to help you ride those waves with strength and confidence, so you can live a life filled with meaning, peace, and resilience.
A brief history of Healing Blue…
Healing Blue Therapy was founded in 2018 by Maria Martinez, LCSW. While working with clients facing everyday struggles, work stress, relationship difficulties, or life changes, Maria noticed something deeper. Most people were also carrying old childhood wounds that made coping with current challenges even harder.
Healing Blue was created to go beyond surface-level therapy. Our work focuses on healing the root causes of trauma, helping clients transform how they see themselves and the world around them.
Healing Blue’s mission is to heal trauma.
Many of our clients grew up feeling they were never “good enough.” Some were compared to siblings, others walked on eggshells to avoid conflict, while others felt unseen despite having “everything they needed.” Those early experiences often leave deep marks, shaping identity, relationships, and self-worth.
At Healing Blue, we help you rewrite that story. Together, we uncover old beliefs and replace them with healthier, empowering truths, so you can stop surviving and start thriving.
Meet Our Therapists
Maria Martinez, LCSW – Founder
Maria’s story as an immigrant from El Salvador, leaving her home during the civil war and adapting to a new life, gives her a deep understanding of resilience and healing. Her passion is helping clients reshape painful childhood beliefs into empowering truths.
