How Opt-In Consent Is Collected

No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data: Mobile phone numbers and SMS/text messaging opt-in consent collected through Healing Blue Therapy's text messaging program are never shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. This category of data is explicitly excluded from every other data-sharing provision in this Privacy Policy, including the sections on Service Providers, Affiliates, and Business Partners below. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services, strictly as needed to deliver the messages You have requested, or as required by law.
Use of Your Personal Data
We may share Your personal information in the following situations (this does not apply to SMS opt-in data and mobile numbers collected for text messaging, which are governed exclusively by the No Sharing statement above):
To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of any service agreement You have entered with Us.
To contact You: to contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS (in accordance with the SMS / Text Messaging Communications section above, and only with Your consent), or other equivalent forms of electronic communication regarding scheduling, service updates, or informative communications, including security updates when necessary.
To provide You with news, and general information about other services We offer that are similar to those You have already inquired about, unless You have opted not to receive such information.
To manage Your requests: to attend and manage Your requests to Us.
For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

Retention of Your Personal Data

SMS opt-in records are retained only as long as needed to honor Your consent choices and to demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging regulations.

(Note: this is separate from minor clients who receive therapy services with parental/guardian consent through our clinical intake process, which is governed by our informed consent and intake documentation, not general Website data collection.) If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
